Art & media educator · teaching in an algorithmic culture

I teach art, media, and design, and I build tools for the classroom. My work sits at the intersection of arts pedagogy, media studies, and the attention economy — how we teach sustained attention, close looking, and making after the feed. My action-research project, Teaching After the Feed, compares two instructional models — teaching with the feed and against it — and the tools I make, collected at classroomtools.io, come out of that inquiry.
